Aptly’s FutureBuilt Conference

A few weeks ago I attended the FutureBuilt Conference hosted by Aptly, and it was one of the most exciting conferences of all the conferences of the year. The event brought together solution providers, partners, and the Aptly team to share ideas, explore what’s next in property management technology, and celebrate innovation of automation.

Aptly FutureBuilt Conference for Prop Tech Solution Providers

From great conversations to product previews, the week was a reminder of how far Aptly has come — and how much potential still lies ahead.

The Fearless Innovator Award

Aptly Consultant Fearless Innovator in Property Management

One of the unexpected highlights of the week was being recognized with Aptly’s Fearless Innovator Award.

It was a fun nod to diving head-first into challenges. Of course, it fits me perfectly. I’ve never been one to shy away from a challenge, especially when it means helping a customer bring order to their workflows or discover an exciting new implementations for Aptly.

All that — and I’m definitely not afraid to jump into any new Aptly feature, test it out, and work directly with the Aptly team to tweak and refine it until it’s the best possible fit for the customers and their workflows.

Fearlessness, to me, means leaning in — rolling up your sleeves, getting into the messy middle of a process, and finding clarity on the other side. It was such a fun recognition that captured exactly why I love what I do.

The New Aptly Certification Program

Another big announcement at FutureBuilt was the launch of Aptly’s new Solution Provider Certification Program, designed to help customers easily identify consultants based on their level of expertise and specialization.

Property Management Aptly Elite Partner

There are three tiers:

  • Certified Consultant – for core Aptly implementation and setup skills

  • Certified Specialization – for advanced focus areas like Workflows, Applicant Screening, Access & Locks, E-Signature Documents, AI Agents, and Help Desk & Inbox

  • Elite Partnership – for consultants driving innovation and strategy across multiple PMS integrations

I’m proud to qualify for all three levels and every specialization category. It’s a great way to show the depth of knowledge available to Aptly clients — and a clear path for ongoing growth in the consultant community.

Partners & Peers at FutureBuilt

Aptly Certified Consultants and Industry Leaders

The best part of the conference was the incredible group of Aptly-certified consultants and industry leaders who attended. These are professionals who have been shaping the property management consulting space for years — bringing deep experience, proven systems, and genuine passion for helping teams thrive.

It was an honor to learn and collaborate alongside:
Deb Newell (RealTime Consulting), Bradley Johnson and David Craig (ProfitCoach), DD Lee (PM Implementors), Sarah Turocy (Bespoke Design), Benjamin Serven and Mike Giraldo (Black Sheep Global), Kelli Segretto (K Segretto Consulting), Tony Cline (Onyx), Jay Berube (BetterWho), Stacey Salyer (Property Management Strategist), and Kandise Varvil (PM Path Builders).

Each of them brings unique perspective and leadership to the industry, and I’m grateful for the chance to collaborate and strategize what’s next together.

What’s New at Aptly

Aptly also unveiled several exciting updates that reflect its vision for autonomous property management. Highlights included:

  • AI Agents for automating communication and workflows

  • A refreshed Help Desk and Inbox with smarter automation

  • Access & Locks tools for seamless self-guided tours

  • Zero Deposit and lease renewal automations

  • And deeper integrations across multiple PMS platforms

Each of these tools is designed to simplify how property management teams communicate, automate, and grow — exactly the kind of innovation that makes me excited to help customers put them into action.

Looking Ahead

I left FutureBuilt feeling inspired, grateful, and more energized than ever. It wasn’t just a week of updates and sessions — it was a celebration of what’s possible when passionate people and powerful technology come together.

Whether it’s through automation, better workflows, or creative problem-solving, this community is fearless about making change happen — and I’m excited to be part of it.

Here’s to building what’s next, one fearless project at a time.
