From Corporate IT to PropTech: Why I’m Helping Property Managers Optimize Their Tech Stack

I’ve always loved computers and technology—ever since my first BASIC class in 8th grade. I proudly identify as a nerd.

For 30 years, I’ve built my career in corporate IT, software development, and delivery, working alongside some of the smartest people I’ve ever met. I’ve had the privilege of building, testing, and delivering world-class software solutions for some of the largest firms in the world, including AT&T, Sprint/T-Mobile, Verizon, and Nokia. Through these experiences, I developed not only deep technical expertise in software development, project management, and system integration, but also a strong foundation in customer engagement and team leadership.

But my journey in technology isn’t limited to the corporate world. Since 2004, I’ve also been a co-owner of Blue Crown Properties with my husband, giving me hands-on experience in the property management industry. Managing a portfolio of properties while navigating the challenges of operations, leasing, maintenance, and accounting gave me firsthand insight into the real-world frustrations of property management technology.

Now, I’m bringing both worlds together. I’ve decided to re-focus my technology expertise to help property management company owners maximize their software investments and streamline their operations. Too often, property managers invest in SaaS platforms with high expectations, only to struggle with complex implementations, disconnected workflows, and underutilized features. My goal is to bridge the gap between technology and efficiency, ensuring that software works for you—not against you.

At StreamWorksPM, I help property managers optimize their tech stack, automate workflows, and improve team adoption. I’d love to connect with professionals looking to make the most of their property management technology.
